Can you make a fake fairy?

Well, I want to make my cousin believe in fairies, so can i make a fake fairy out of stuff in my yard? like pull the wings off a dead dragonfly, and sew it to other stuff, and get some barbie doll hair and sew it to some kind of base material? I'm just going to like leave it on the driveway and wait until my cousin notices it and shows it to me in amazment like, "They ARE real!"
