What do you think of the name Maren?

Half the people I see hate my name. I don't like like to be called Mary. Its not old fashion I know 3 Marens. It may not be like Taylor, I know 12 of them, but its a nice name. ITS MY NAME. Its pronounced Mare-in. When people spell there name like that its pronounced that way. Marin is Mer-in (thats how its pronounced) If you don't like my name tell me why but don't hate, I may not like your name either. I think its pretty and a unqiue name. Ps it means Ocean lover or Pearl, or Sea, Or queen of sea. It is a very very very popular name in Norway. Just go to Disney Epcot I went and there where 3 in Norway.
