Can I still use an egg I didn't get a chance to cook?

Today, maybe about an 2 hours ago I cracked two eggs opened and seasoned it. However, I was unable to put it to cook do to the fact I had to drop making breakfast do something very important. Anyway, I then covered the uncooked eggs with foil and placed it back in the fridge. Will I still be able to use it? It's been in the fridge for 2 hours now. Isn't there some protocol to using eggs like that? This egg is obviously a grocery store egg and I want to make an omelet with it.
